Like every year, the musicians of the St. Agatha fire brigade music band hold their brass band concert in the festival hall of Bad Goisern at Lake Hallstatt. Following the concert, there will be dancing.

The St. Agatha fire brigade music band

Founded in 1888, it is one of the few fire brigade music bands in Upper Austria. Some events are part of the annual activities, such as the traditional outing at Easter, the concert at the fairground beer tent in St. Agatha, the tower blowing at Christmas in the small church of St. Agatha, as well as the popular New Year's blowing.

Music - a lived tradition

In the Dachstein Salzkammergut holiday region, music plays a significant role, especially in the preservation of traditions. In Bad Goisern, Gosau, Hallstatt, and Obertraun, there are numerous music bands that organize their own concerts and musically accompany all important events in the towns.
