And the idea of fitting an entire forest into a bottle of beer is beyond imagination. A brewer and a forest aroma expert have teamed up to blend beer knowledge, a forest walk, and fine culinary experiences into an exciting Wienerwald experience.

Something is brewing in the Wienerwald.

The journey begins directly at the Gablitzer Privatbrauerei. Those expecting a classic brewery tour or beer tasting will be surprised. From here, it goes straight into the Wienerwald, where the beer brewing process and fermentation are made tangible step by step: from malt tea to the finished Wienerwald beer in the bottle.

In between, there are several stations – from aromatic malty beech forests to sunny black pine dry forests, and on to the fruitily fragrant wild cherry groves at the forest's edge. Along the way, the tree aromas make their way into the glass and onto the plate. At each stop, a specific step of the brewing process is explained in detail.

By the end, it becomes clear why the final WienerWaldBier smells exactly as it does and tastes as it does. With aromas of aromatic hops, beech, and wild cherry wood. Unfiltered and unpasteurized, fermented at 11.9°P and 4.9% alcohol by volume.
