In the new production of the cult film-like cabaret by Alfred Dorfer and Roland Düringer, Mother's Day is anything but festive. As chaos reigns in the typically Austrian Neugebauer family, repressed conflicts come to light, and of course, everything that can go wrong does go wrong. A comedy that oscillates between kitsch and catastrophe, showcasing the highs and lows of everyday family madness with plenty of Viennese charm – sharp-tongued, quirky, and deeply human.
