Mick Harvey and Amanda Acevedo will return to Europe in spring 2026 for a series of concerts with their current album "Golden Mirrors," making a stop at the Theater Akzent. In addition to songs from this album, they will also present excerpts from their duet album "Phantasmagoria in Blue" as well as from Harvey's solo album "Five Ways to Say Goodbye." They will be accompanied by guitarist Georgio Valentino and Yoyo Röhm on bass and keyboard. "Golden Mirrors: The Uncovered Sessions Vol. 1" is the new album by Mick Harvey & Amanda Acevedo. It is planned as the first project in a series focusing on songwriters for whom Harvey and Acevedo have a special affinity. In this case, it concerns Jackson C. Frank, a once nearly forgotten American folk singer from the 1960s who has recently been rediscovered and reinterpreted by Harvey and Acevedo. The duo will continue to work on the "Uncovered Sessions" while simultaneously producing an album of original material set to be released in 2026. Mick Harvey, a musician, music producer, and composer who has been active for over 45 years, is best known as a member of The Birthday Party and The Bad Seeds, as well as for his long-standing collaborations with PJ Harvey and Nick Cave. In addition to composing music for ten feature films and numerous short films and documentaries, Harvey has released ten solo albums over the past two decades and has received several Australian music awards. He won the AFI Award for Best Original Music for "Suburban Mayhem" in 2006 and was named British Producer of the Year in 2011 for his (co-)production of PJ Harvey's "Let England Shake." Mexican artist Amanda Acevedo is intensively working on her collaboration with Mick Harvey. After studying film in her hometown of San Luis Potosí in 2020/21, she teamed up with one of her idols to record the thematically rich duet collection "Phantasmagoria in Blue." This work was continued in 2025 with the new album "Golden Mirrors" (Mute). She is currently studying and working in Melbourne.
