Hand-formed - Pottery Course

Together, we will work with versatile plate techniques, completely without a potter's wheel. Step by step, I will show you how to create stylish cups, bowls, and many other favorite pieces in no time – even without prior experience.

With a selection of texture and modeling tools, you will refine your works according to your personal style. Whether minimalistic, playful, or truly extraordinary – your creativity knows no bounds. In the end, unique one-of-a-kind pieces will emerge.

Process (2 sessions – a total of 6 hours)
This pottery course consists of two sessions, each lasting 3 hours, and is suitable for beginners and slightly advanced participants.
1st session - Modeling (3 hours)
After a brief introduction to the material and hand-building techniques, you will directly mold and design your own ceramic pieces. After a drying period of about 1-2 weeks, the works will go into the kiln for the first time.

2nd session - Glazing (3 hours)
After the first firing, you will give your pieces their personal shine with a selected glaze. They will then be fired at 1220 °C – resulting in durable, robust, and dishwasher-safe favorites that will accompany you for many years.

Included: Personal guidance throughout the entire workshop, all tools and materials included, up to 2 kg of stoneware clay per participant, sufficient for your ideas, two firing processes: bisque firing & glazing firing for durable, dishwasher-safe results, glazing: the date will be set together during the modeling session, about two weeks later.
