REAL: HUMAN II | Opening Reception

With ECHT:MENSCH II, Mila Veljac’a Plaickner and Andrea Maria Bauer continue their joint artistic exploration. Following the first exhibition at Gallery 9und20, the dialogue is deepened and continued at Villa Claudia.

Both artists work figuratively and process-oriented, questioning societal attributions as well as the claim to perfection. In painting, sculpture, and text fragments, they address doubts, fractures, transformation, and the conscious acceptance of incompleteness. ECHT:MENSCH II is understood as an invitation to authentic encounters – with art, the space, and one’s own humanity. The focus is on tension, difference, and honesty rather than smooth harmony.
