In the public tours, you will gain a comprehensive insight into the vibrant history and present of the Fischbeck Monastery. Accompanied by knowledgeable guides, you will visit the monastery church and some areas that are not accessible during regular tours. For example, you will see the crypt, the cloister, and the gardens. The famous Fischbeck tapestry is extensively described in literature and tells the founding legend. It can be viewed in the ladies' choir as part of the tours. The tours last about 90 minutes and begin in front of the gatehouse; no registration is required. Tickets can be purchased at the monastery shop.
