The Andreas-Gegentrum Mine is one of the few mines with its own railway connection. On the weekends of operation, the historic Preßnitztalbahn stops here on its journey between Jöhstadt and Steinbach. You can find the dates for the operating days here. 2:45 PM Gathering of the miners at the "New Bridge" between Steinbach and Grumbach 3:00 PM Departure to the Huthaus at the Andreas-Gegentrum Mine 3:20 PM Welcome of the hut master at the Huthaus with the Grumbach brass choir 3:30 PM Large Mettenschicht Following that, there will be Christmas melodies with the BMV Jöhstadt/Grumbach and the Grumbach brass choir. Refreshments will be provided.
