Scheibenberger Christmas Market

On the 1st Advent, Scheibenberg warmly invites you to its atmospheric Advent market. The opening begins at 2:30 PM in the marketplace with a small program featuring the kindergarten "Bergwichtel," the "Christian Lehmann" primary school, and the brass choir of the St. Johannis parish. A special moment is the cutting of the traditional stollen from the Kreißl bakery. At 3:30 PM, a small mountain procession by the Bergknapp- und Brüderschaft Oberscheibe/Scheibenberg e.V. will parade through the town, accompanied by the brass choir. Together, they will push the pyramid and ceremonially light the Schwibbogen – Santa Claus will also be present. From 4:00 PM, children can look forward to baking cookies, crafting, and marveling at the nativity scene in the Christmas room at the pharmacy. The event will conclude at 5:00 PM with the tower music at St. Johannis Church, where the brass choir will musically enhance the festive atmosphere. The Scheibenberg Advent market is a celebration for the whole family, combining Erzgebirge traditions with a warm Advent spirit.
