The Pyramid Festival in Grünhain is a festive kickoff to the Advent season. Every year on the Saturday before the first Advent, locals and visitors gather around the beautifully decorated Christmas pyramid to witness the ceremonial start of the pyramid. Culinary delights and Erzgebirge crafts at the market stalls provide an authentic experience, while children can look forward to small surprises. The Pyramid Festival is a warm expression of regional tradition and invites everyone to experience the Erzgebirge Christmas culture up close.
