Water Games – Open-Air Music Event

The special charm of the "Water Games" comes from its unique location right on the banks of the Salz River, combined with the unrestrained joy of music from mostly regional music groups. Every evening, it offers an exciting mix of rock, pop, or singer-songwriter music, a few classic hits, vibrant brass band sounds, as well as choral singing or classical orchestral music. In the arena by the Salz, in the shade of the old spa park, the spark of enthusiasm from the bands quickly ignites the audience in the tiered, riverside stage.

RETROSPECTIVE WATER GAMES 2025
THANK YOU to the wonderful audience! Despite the occasionally unpredictable weather, around 6,500 guests attended the Water Games 2025 and brought the arena in the Salz to life.
THANK YOU to the musicians from the region, who with so much passion and love for music – each band in their own special way – delighted the audience and created unforgettable moments.
THANK YOU to the sponsors from Bad Soden-Salmünster and the region for their generous support, without which free open-air events like the Water Games would not be possible.

PROGRAM 2026
The program for 2026 is largely set - further details will follow later. Admission to all events will again be free in 2026.

ARRIVAL BY CAR AND PARKING:
The free parking spaces at the entrance to the district of Bad Soden and at the end of Thermalstraße are just a few steps away from the arena in the Salz. The new relief parking lot on the WOCO site (access via Sprudelallee) is also within walking distance to the event area (see sketch under images).

ARRIVAL BY TRAIN AND BICYCLE:
The Bad Soden-Salmünster/Salmünster train station is conveniently reachable in about 15 minutes on foot through the Kinzigauen. Additionally, the arena in the Salz is directly located on the Kinzigtal cycle path R3, with bicycle parking available on the festival grounds.

BAD WEATHER ALTERNATIVE:
Should the weather not cooperate on a given day, the nearby Spessart FORUM at the spa park will transform into an atmospheric festival lounge. Up-to-date information will be available on social media.
