Karl Ratzer Sexteto Brazil presents a concert that celebrates the musical kinship between continents. The project "Brazil" arose from Ratzer's friendship with musicians from Brazil, North America, and Europe, featuring original compositions and reinterpretations of classics from Brazilian and Latin American origins, as well as North American jazz standards. In addition to Karl Ratzer, the lineup includes Peter Herbert on bass, Howard Curtis on drums, Yta Moreno as vocalist and guitarist, and percussionists Fred Mascavo and Ricardo Mateus. The music combines melody with joy of playing and invites dancing.
