View Behind the Fence

The approximately three-hour tour of the NORD and SÜD military training areas is accompanied by knowledgeable guides. This allows for a "behind-the-fence" look into areas that would otherwise be inaccessible. Participants will learn a lot of interesting facts about the origins, history, as well as the flora and fauna of the two military training areas. To avoid disappointments, it should be explicitly mentioned that the tours cannot take place during ongoing training operations! The tours start at 1:00 PM at the Munster Touristik parking lot. Following the bus ride, a stop for coffee is planned at one of the local dining establishments. The tours conclude around 5:00 PM at Munster Touristik. The dates for 2026 are: 01.04.2026, 08.07.2026, 15.07.2026, 22.07.2026, 29.07.2026, 05.08.2026. The price of €35.00 per person includes the following services: approximately 3-hour guided bus tour of the two Munster military training areas, coffee and cake, and guidance by a soldier of the Bundeswehr and a forestry officer. Note: Registration is mandatory and is possible immediately! Participation is only allowed from the age of 14! The transport of animals is not permitted.
