Easter bonfires in all villages

Traditionally, the so-called Easter fire takes place in East Frisia on the Saturday before Easter Sunday. Here, the branches collected from autumn and spring are gathered and then burned in a field. Together, people drive away the spirits of winter and look forward to the upcoming Easter days. The following Easter fires traditionally take place in the municipality of Krummhörn: in Greetsiel on Okko-tom-Brook Street starting at 5 PM. In Pilsum at the sports field and in Manslagt behind the Odens hall. In Pewsum on Ost-West Street starting at 6 PM. In Rysum at 6 PM in the Zingelanlage (Outer Ring Road corner Liddenweg) with children's surprises as well as drinks, a grill, and a fish stand. The fire will be lit at 7 PM. The village community of Campen e.V. also invites you to the annual Easter fire from 4 PM to 10 PM. In addition to the traditional fire, there will be provisions for physical well-being.
