Meet & Greet with sled dogs and mushers, polar dog torch hike.

On Saturday, the organizer is offering an alternative program that includes a meet & greet with the mushers and sled dogs, as well as an evening torchlight hike. With great regret, the organizers must cancel this year's winter sled dog race. As an alternative program, the organizer will host a meet & greet on Saturday, February 7, from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM, featuring some mushers who would have participated in the race with their teams. Guests will have the opportunity to experience the sled dogs live and learn interesting facts about dog sports. The event will take place at Bockswieser Höhe in Zellerfeld, with parking available on Hohen Weg, the surrounding streets, and at the Old Train Station. Participation in the meet & greet is free of charge. Following the meet & greet, there will be an experience hike by torchlight. Guests can explore the sled dog racing track with the mushers in the moonlight for about an hour starting at 5:30 PM. The cost for the torchlight hike, including a torch and punch, is 8.00 euros per person.
