Tides have fascinated generations, giving rise to exciting and tragic stories, and raising questions about their origin. Time and again, people get lost in the mudflats, having ventured too far out alone into the unknown area between land and the North Sea. On this mudflat hike, we venture into the mudflats during high tide, guided by a certified mudflat guide, and observe the approaching North Sea. We address potential dangers, unravel the mystery behind the tide, listen to stories, and enjoy the unique scenery in a safe environment. Before swimwear becomes necessary, we will leave the mudflats again.
