National Park Mudflat Hike: From Baltrum Back

Together with a biologist from the National Park House Carolinensiel, we walk through the salt marshes of Baltrum into the mudflats. Nearly 7 km take us through all facets of the Wadden Sea - from the smallest inhabitants of the mudflats, we gain insight into the entire ecosystem, always keeping the mainland in sight, even crossing one or two tidal channels. On the last part of the route, we also get our share of mud, until we finally reach the salt marsh of Neßmersiel again.
