Wonderland on the Edge of the Oder - Strolls - Songs - History(ies)

A cheerful and reflective "yearly tour" through two of the most beautiful natural areas in Germany: the Lower Oder Valley National Park and the Schorfheide-Chorin Biosphere Reserve. We will explore well-known and "secret" gems of both protected regions! With the hiking bard and local historian Thomas Röhlinger (Certified Nature and Landscape Guide) Spring magic and history in the Oder Valley: Stolpe A true highlight – right at the start of our Uckermark tour: We enjoy the magnificent view over the Oder Valley. The legendary mighty watchtower gives us a glimpse into the history of the region... We encounter an important noble and research family from our area. The Oder sings us its song. And: We experience the beauty of spring on the Oder slopes and in the polders. Off to the floodplain! Easy hikes; mostly clearly under 10 km, about 3-4 hours. Sturdy footwear, weather-appropriate clothing, and snacks are a must. All hikes are at your own risk. Cancellations possible in case of storm or continuous rain.
