Pleasure & History in Oberderdingen

A tour through Oberderdingen with various stops and a subsequent visit to the Simon Distillery. A delightful city tour of a special kind can be experienced in Oberderdingen. Various stops in the unique ensemble of buildings of the Oberderdingen Amthof – considered by historians and monument protectors to be the best-preserved monastic farmstead in Southern Germany – bring visitors significantly closer to this special place. The evening is complemented by a walk along the 530-meter-long ring wall, exploring the medieval past! The tour begins at the delicatessen "kostbar Genuss & Geschenke" with an aperitif and various culinary "tastings," then moves to the Amthof for another culinary stop, and concludes at the Simon Distillery. Here, participants learn more about the art of distillation and can enjoy five samples of the "distilled spirit" along with small snacks.
