What began on July 13, 2001, in Eislingen an der Fils as a teenage band is today one of the most enduring, successful, and simultaneously likable punk rock institutions in Germany. With boundless energy, a lot of humor, and a distinctive sense for great melodies, ITCHY played their way from the first youth center concerts to the big stages across Europe. Early on, Sibbi, Panzer, and Max made the uncompromising decision to forge their own path: without huge marketing budgets, but with tireless work, seemingly endless joy of playing, and a loyal fanbase behind them. Over the years, the three-man band evolved into an impressive live phenomenon: well over 1,000 concerts in more than 20 countries and a reputation for shows that are equally precise, captivating, humorous, and emotional. The band manages the rare balancing act between punk rock attitude, melodic catchiness, and a clear stance on social and political issues. Musically, ITCHY has continuously developed, releasing new records with consistent regularity and creating anthems that have long become a staple of the German punk rock landscape. Despite their long history, ITCHY has never stood still.
