9th Street Festival Straßwalchen

On Sunday, August 2, 2026, it will be time for the ninth edition of the "Straßwalchner Straßenfest"! Under the motto "Shopping, Grilling & Chilling," numerous businesses and associations from Straßwalchen invite you to celebrate, marvel, and enjoy from 11 AM to 7 PM. Salzburger Straße and the Old Fire Station Park will be transformed into a car-free festival mile – featuring sales stalls, music, culinary delights, and plenty of entertainment.

Diverse Program for Young and Old
Whether on stage or off to the side: a variety of entertainment is guaranteed. Four music groups will perform on two stages, providing the musical backdrop for the festival. Meanwhile, cozy chill-out areas invite visitors to relax, and local businesses will showcase their products and offerings.

Culinary Delights for Every Taste
No culinary wish will go unfulfilled: the scent of grilling fills the air, sweet treats await those with a sweet tooth, and local restaurants and associations will pamper guests with regional specialties.

Children's Program with Participation Guarantee
Especially younger visitors can look forward to a colorful adventure: a "participatory concert" by and with Bernhard Fibich, the popular children's theater by Josefine Merkatz, the humorous duo "Clown Pedro & Clownin Kathi Strophe," a graffiti workshop, pony rides, stilt walkers, face painting, bouncy castles, huge sand piles, and much more will ensure bright eyes and great moods.

The Straßenfest 2026 offers a colorful program for all generations – with free admission! The Straßwalchen Tourism Association, Treffpunkt Straßwalchen, and numerous local businesses and associations look forward to your visit.
