Georg Petermichl: Universal thoughts - least common multiple

In his exhibition "Universal thoughts: least common multiple" at the Francisco Carolinum, Petermichl focuses on photography as a social and psychological instrument. Starting from the smallest personal cosmos – one's own family – he broadens the perspective to larger contexts such as mass tourism, collective desires, and shared cultural practices. The exhibition questions what drives people, how memories are formed, and what role photographs play as carriers of identity, projection, and social reality.
