Six artists take up the traces of such potential secrets: Pascal Petignat and Martin Scholz search for chemical stains in the home of the inventor of photography, Nicéphore Niépce; Peter Schreiner extracts hidden details from a sober instructional photography; Gregor Schmoll reveals the studio as an empty vessel filled with works; Isabelle le Minh stages overlooked details of photography and apparatus history; and finally, Sebastian Riemer uncovers the end of analog photography in discarded materials.
