In this guided tour through the exhibition, former industrial facility, and mining tunnels, you will learn everything there is to know about modern Upper Harz mining. During the excursion through the underground and above-ground mining facilities, knowledgeable museum guides will vividly explain the harsh working conditions of the miners as well as the history of mining in and around Bad Grund. Note: Visitors can expect temperatures around 8°C in the tunnel system. Sturdy footwear and warm clothing are recommended. Safety helmets will be provided.
