Night of Sports 2025 – Athlete Awards of the City of Hann. Münden For the first time since 2020, the Night of Sports returns in connection with the Athlete Awards of the City of Hann. Münden. After a pandemic-related interruption and subsequent renovation work in the Auefeld event hall, this special event will finally take place again on Saturday, March 22, 2025. “The Night of Sports is an ideal opportunity to celebrate together and honor the best athletes of our city,” explains Klaus Dreßler. The organizing team has ensured a worthy setting, featuring high-profile acts: Sven Winkel and his “Madison Eventband” will provide the necessary energy for the evening with suitable music, while the Gimter Gardetanzgruppe will delight the audience. As a grand finale, guests can look forward to a midnight raffle with attractive prizes. The limited 350 tickets are available directly at the Trans World Hotel Auefeld (Tel. 05541/705-0) for 15 euros. On Wednesday, March 12, 2025, the official athlete awards ceremony of the city will be held in the historic knights' hall of the Welfenschloss. Afterwards, citizens will have the opportunity to vote for the Münden Female Athlete, the Münden Male Athlete, and the Team of the Year via the municipal Münden app. Voting will be open until Friday, March 21, 2025, at 10:00 AM.
