Wild Herb Hike Along the Aller

Join us for a wild herb walk and discover the diversity of nature with all your senses. Learn about various wild plants (herbs, shrubs, and trees) and find out how they are used in the kitchen and in herbal medicine. Nature is a richly laid table – you just need to know what you can pick! We will try the spicy garlic mustard, taste the tender leaves of the lime tree, and get to know various medicinal plants. Some of these plants are attributed with mystical properties. During our approximately 2-hour walk along the Aller River, we will explore different native plants of the region. At the end of the little hike, there will be a small wild tasting in the medicinal herb garden and a herbal lemonade as a refreshment! Curious? Then sign up quickly.
