Beer Tasting: Double and Triple

Double, Triple, Barley Wine – A tasting with aromatic and smooth beers. With smooth strong beers and special rarities from around the world, you get an insight into beer varieties that you don't indulge in every day. None of the brews has an alcohol content of less than 6.5% vol., and the alcohol serves as the perfect counterbalance to the strong malt bodies. It is believed that the first strong beer dates back to the self-brewed beer of the Paulaner monks in the mid-18th century. Salvator – the savior – became the festival beer in celebration of the name day of the founder of the Paulaner order, Franz von Paula.
