Double, Triple, Barley Wine – A tasting of aromatic, smooth beers. With smooth strong beers and special rarities from all over the world, you will gain an insight into types of beer that you don't treat yourself to every day. None of the beers has an alcohol content of less than 6.5% vol., and the alcohol is the perfect counterpart to the strong malt bodies. It is believed that the first strong beer dates back to the home-brewed beer of the Paulaner monks in the mid-18th century. Salvator – the savior – became a festival beer, celebrating the name day of Franz von Paula, founder of the Paulaner Order.
