RangerTour: All the birds are already here!

Welcome to Concert Spring! "The lark soars into the air, the dove flies from its cleft and makes its way into the woods!" This is how a well-known folk song by the Lübbener poet Paul Gerhardt (1607 - 1676) begins - and it still holds true today: In May, the bird concert is complete, and everyone joins in the spring concert of the birds. On this hike through the diverse cultural landscape, we will pass through various habitats, each home to its own unique bird species. An entertaining tour through the fields; with anecdotes and interesting facts about the birdlife of our homeland. Experience: bird calls, birds in the forest, birds in fields and meadows, cultural landscape Duration/Distance: approx. 4 hours / approx. 7 km Meeting point: 6:00 AM, parking lot at Uckro train station Notes: Breakfast break along the way, self-catering, please bring binoculars and a bird book, sturdy footwear required. The hike is on level ground and mainly takes place on village roads, field, and forest paths.
