Koralm24 Hiking

80 km, 3500 m elevation gain, and no hat of sleep! An extreme hike that starts from Weinebene to the summit of Koralm and leads through the picturesque hills and mountainous landscapes of western Styria to Bad Schwanberg and back over Handalm. A journey that everyone embarks on together, but each person must undertake alone. The tour is not a race, but still a challenge, an adventure, a boundary experience for body and mind. At Koralm24, pilgrims, long-distance hikers, extreme and recreational athletes—men and women from various regions and nations—come together to feel the limits of their physical endurance, fully tap into their willpower potential, and experience themselves and others in extreme situations. Those who register for the 24-hour hike should be well-trained and listen to their bodies. Breaks are, of course, planned, but there will be no sleep during the night. The most important thing is to drink, eat, drink, eat, drink, and eat. Numerous alpine huts and refreshment stations along the way ensure a regular supply of energy and thus also allow for light hiking gear.
