About the Person
The cabaret artist and pediatric surgeon Omar Sarsam is a true Viennese. He has Iraqi roots with Czech and Croatian influences and grew up in Austria, which he considers a privilege. In 2004, he first appeared on the cabaret stage at the improv show "Hands Up" at the Wiener Kabarett Niedermair. Together with Marc Bernhuber, he scored a hit as the "Discoparty Brothers" with "Disco, Disco, Party, Party," which has over 16 million clicks on YouTube. In February 2016, Omar Sarsam presented his first solo program "Diagnosis: Doctor."
