Jeunesses Musicales Germany visits Bronnbach

Experiencing chamber music – that is the goal of the course that Jeunesses Musicales attracts young musicians from Germany and abroad to Weikersheim every year. As part of the "Chamber Music Course for Young Instrumentalists," young musicians have the opportunity to work on chamber music pieces in various ensembles with highly qualified instructors. Individual string players, woodwind players, horn players, and pianists aged 14 to 21 come together in Weikersheim to make music in diverse ensembles. Many of the participants are national prize winners in the "Jugend musiziert" competition. Through intensive all-day rehearsals and individual lessons, participants can expand their musical skills and, above all, experience and enjoy the joy of making music together. From these initial musical encounters, friendships are formed, and moving music emerges from newly learned works! The results of this work culminate in the music festival at Kloster Bronnbach, featuring around four hours of music ranging from Bach to Shostakovich to Piazzolla. Jeunesses Musicales Deutschland (JMD), based in Weikersheim, is part of a global community of musical youth and advocates for the vision of a humane society through music.
