In spring, the best time for cheese-making, the Bear Inn owner thought, and invites guests to a Mostviertel field trial workshop at one of the best sheep cheese producers in the Mostviertel region.

After the aperitif at the Bear Inn, guests will either walk or drive together to the sheep cheese farm of Maria and Thomas Langeder. There, they will gain insight into the production process and will have the opportunity to help with cheese-making themselves.

The milk from Lacaune sheep is something truly special – perfect for producing really good cheese in various consistencies. Thomas Langeder has also developed a unique sheep cheese recipe exclusively for the Bear Inn – but that remains a secret for now.

Afterward, everyone will return to the Bear Inn, where a 4-course sheep cheese menu will be prepared together with the star chef Renate Schaufler and sous-chef Markus Hofschweiger. Active participation in cooking is encouraged!

The menu is expected to be ready by 6:30 PM, at which point everyone will eat together, and additional guests are welcome to join and share the meal, which is also encouraged.
