Gerli, the witch in Gerlhamer Moor in Seewalchen am Attersee

On a joint hike into the moor, dear Gerli, a moor witch, comes to meet us. She knows many stories and legends about the moor and the Attersee region. One special tale is about the journey of the pearl fish from the Black Sea to Lake Attersee. Together, we discover many secrets of the moor habitat in Seewalchen am Attersee with all our senses.

The starting point of the hike is in Seewalchen, and from there, we stroll past ancient trees, accompanied by a stream, until we reach the Gerlhamer Moor. What luck! Gerli, the moor witch, comes to meet us. She is sad because she soon has to leave her moor. She has forgotten her most important task. But help is at hand to remind her!

Together, we search for a treasure chest. Inside lies a wondrous story that tells of the journey of the pearl fish from the Black Sea to Lake Attersee. Gerli is also connected to this tale.
