Theater trip to Meggenhofen: SPALTBODEN - the struggle of farmers then and now

The Kircheckerhof was already a substantial farmstead in 1625, the year of the infamous "Frankenburger Dice Game." 400 years later, the paths of three very different farmers intersect here as they reenact this event with a theater group. Additionally, two vacationing guests from southern Germany somewhat disrupt the rural world.
Author Fritz Egger masterfully portrays the Kircheckerhof, which today houses the Meggenhofen Theater, while also highlighting the difficult role of the farmers and drawing a certain parallel to the Frankenburger Dice Game. Even today, there is a risk that of two farms, only one will survive. But don't worry, despite some heart-wrenching scenes, humor is not lacking in "Spaltboden"!
