Vision String Quartet - Figorama

Founded in 2012, the Vision String Quartet has established itself as one of the best string quartets of its generation and is among the select few paving the way for the future of the string quartet genre, following in the footsteps of ensembles like the Kronos Quartet or Quatuor Ébène. With their ability to "navigate" between the classical string quartet repertoire and their own compositions from genres such as folk, pop, rock, funk, and minimal music, the four visionary artists are bringing new impulses to the music world. The quartet's concert formats are innovative and versatile: the string quartet, which also sees itself as a band, performs in classical concert halls such as the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, the Berlin Philharmonie, and Wigmore Hall London, as well as at renowned festivals like the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival, the Bodensee Festival, the Beethovenfest Bonn, and the Trondheim Chamber Music Festival. The musicians perform both classical-romantic and contemporary repertoire from memory.
