The Heurigen restaurant run by the Alphart family, located in the center of Traiskirchen, is one of those establishments that skillfully combines traditional and modern elements in the hospitality they offer their guests. The heart of the business is the Heurigen restaurant, with its many cozy dining rooms, a modern winter garden with a large fireplace, and a spacious, partially covered and heated terrace, as well as a Mediterranean garden where the numerous oleanders, citrus plants, and blooming flowers create a vacation-like atmosphere. There is also a playground for children.
Good food and good wine are known to be an ideal pair – and this is where Alphart am Mühlbach truly shines: when Cathi Alphart cooks and Robert entertains the guests, no wish remains unfulfilled. Winemaker Lorenz Alphart ensures the perfect wine and food pairing with his nationally and internationally award-winning top wines. In particular, the indigenous grape varieties of the Thermenregion, Rotgipfler and Zierfandler, can be tasted and enjoyed here as regional, local, vineyard, and natural wines. Quality and regionality are our top priorities when it comes to our menu selection.
Whether it's local Austro Dry Aged Beef, fish from Gut Dornau, Styrian chicken, or the local Ötscherblick pig from Höllerschmied, only products that meet our highest standards are used.
