"Picture Walk in Erkelenz"

The "Picture Walk in Erkelenz" offers a comprehensive insight into the city's over thousand-year history. Selected photographs showcase central squares and architectural monuments that illustrate the historical development of Erkelenz. The former Geldrische exclave in the Jülicher Land was a well-fortified town due to its strategic location and wealth. The presentation will highlight, among other things, the changes to the Old Town Hall over time, as well as the history of St. Lambertus Parish Church and its bell tower. The event will be led by the experienced tour guide Simone Palloni M.A. The exact location will be announced upon registration. The duration is approximately 1.5 hours. Prior registration is required.
