With binoculars and a spotting scope, we are presented with a wonderful view of a fantastic variety of bird species: at the pond in Ihringsgroden! But what are the migratory birds? We take our time to observe and identify the different species. We learn why the national park is so important for migratory birds, understand the concept of bird migration, and clarify terms such as "hub of the Wadden Sea" or "Eastern Atlantic migratory route."
