Regional Theatre – "Vicky the Viking"

As part of the event "Small? Art! Moves," the regional theater presents "Vicky the Viking." After two sold-out performances, the regional theater returns to Sigmaringen – this time at the town hall: with Vicky's exciting adventures. In the town hall, both young and old audiences will experience an engaging family program centered around the popular television series, featuring imaginative stage design, energetic acting, and plenty of Viking fun. Vicky demonstrates that brains often count for more than brawn, repeatedly rescuing the supposedly strong from tricky situations with his clever ideas. The performance is based on the children's books by Swedish author Runer Jonsson and is brought to the stage by the regional theater in a loving and professional adaptation. Director Andreas Jendrusch has assembled a five-member ensemble that combines joy in performance, energy, and versatility. With great liveliness, the actors switch roles, impress with expressive facial expressions and gestures, and bring to life the world of the Viking village Flake, fearsome pirates, and dangerous adventures. Imaginative sets, authentic costumes, live singing, and guitar music make the performance an exhilarating experience for the whole family.
