Heard and unheard along the Rhine from Basel to Strasbourg In a unique sound installation combining natural sounds, music, conversations, and stories, Rolf Killius, an artist and journalist who grew up in the Upper Rhine region and now lives in London, has captured his multi-day hike from Basel to Strasbourg. The result is a multi-layered panorama of a modern "home" between France, Germany, and Switzerland, which immerses visitors in the atmosphere of a closely linked border landscape and can be heard for the first time at the Markgräfler Museum.
