German Mill Day

Every year, the Neuhausen ob Eck Open-Air Museum uses German Mill Day as an opportunity to showcase its water-powered mills.
From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., visitors can see the over 250-year-old farm mill of the Hochbronner Hof near St. Georgen-Peterzell and the Hochgang sawmill from Unterkirnach in full operation. Museum staff will, of course, be on hand to provide detailed explanations and answer questions.
In addition, the horse-powered capstan at the Bärbele House will be in operation on this day. Mill-themed fairy tales will be told at the Bärbele House.
