Bergstrasse Wine Festival

From September 5 to 13, 2026, the historic old town of Bensheim will once again transform into a vibrant festival grounds: The Bergsträßer Wine Festival invites guests from near and far to enjoy the special atmosphere, top-quality wines, and a varied program for nine days.

Whether it's the traditional wine festival parade with beautifully decorated floats, the popular themed days, live music, or the Sunday shopping event – the wine festival has something for everyone. A meeting point for connoisseurs are the numerous wine and sparkling wine stands, as well as culinary booths offering a variety of regional and international delicacies, ranging from grilled specialties to crêpes and pulled pork burgers.

Established in 1929, this is the largest wine festival in Southern Hesse, attracting around 100,000 visitors each year. Here, you meet old friends – and find new ones.
