Special Exhibition "Perspectives"

Saturday, February 7 – Sunday, March 22, 2026 The Havelberg painter Peter Schulze captures the landscapes of his homeland, which particularly move him, with color, light, and passion on canvas. The exhibition will feature around 30 impressions of the Havel and Elbe regions. Peter Schulze's oil paintings, created with short brush strokes, bright colors, and light, have atmosphere. Peter Schulze was born in 1942 in Garz and grew up in Warnau. There, he learned the trade of painting from master painter Güssow and subsequently worked in Havelberg. In 1976, Schulze changed his professional direction and became an inland fisherman with the fishing cooperative in Havelberg. With the reunification in 1990, a new chapter in his life began: he became self-employed as a fishing and hunting outfitter and ran a shop on Steinstraße in Havelberg. Since 2002, Peter Schulze has been enjoying retirement and spends a lot of time in nature. For more information: Perspectives on Prignitz-Museum.de
