Of Trees, Bees, and Beekeeping - Bicycle Excursion through the Sauener Forest

Get the old bike out of the shed, we're saddling up! On this three-hour cycling excursion, you will explore the rich shrub and herb flora of the Sauener Forest. Norman Heß, a certified nature and landscape guide, will lead you along flowering hedges, avenues, forest edges, past water-providing ponds, springs, and interesting shrubs and herbs - always with a holistic view of the bees and their forage. Number of participants - min. 3, max. 20. The meeting point is on Sunday, July 12, 2026, at the Papphaus (Information Center) in Sauen at the Anger. The event starts at 2:00 PM. Weatherproof clothing and sturdy footwear are recommended depending on the weather. Additionally, a traffic-safe and off-road capable bicycle should be brought along. Safe riding behavior is expected.
