Moonlit Night with Special Guest: Doris Rauschert

When the sun sets over Schloss Belvedere and the full moon appears, it is a feast for the senses. The Italian architecture of King Friedrich Wilhelm IV is bathed in warm evening light, and as the moon reflects in the water basin, bats quietly circle above. As it gets darker, the castle courtyard, colonnades, and arcades are atmospherically illuminated. From the castle towers, one can experience the evening view of Potsdam, the Havelseen lakes, and the filling starry sky. Special Guest: On this moonlit night, we will dive into the enchanting world of Jewish fairy tales. Doris Rauschert presents stories full of humor, wisdom, and spirituality, closely linked to the sacred texts of the Torah and the Talmud. We will encounter wise rabbis, compassionate people, magical animal beings, and figures from Yiddish and Hasidic folklore. The tales will be traditionally accompanied by music. The members of the Pfingstberg Support Association will offer drinks, and there will also be provisions for physical well-being – with pleasant music, it is the perfect way to end the week!
