With their blend of gypsy songs, Balkan beats, Klezmer, and swing featuring violin, clarinet, guitar, bass, and percussion, along with occasional vocal performances, Zhetva has been performing for over 20 years. Mostly appearing as an acoustic quartet, sometimes amplified with drums, they present world music with a focus on Eastern Europe to their audience. The band plays at all life’s occasions, and can be heard at festivals, in cafes and pubs, at weddings and family celebrations, in village churches, and on the street. Zhetva offers quality handcrafted live music that invites both listening and dancing.
