Scaled Beauties

Experience the natural world of Lieberoser Heide Scaly Beauties. Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 3 PM. Day butterflies enchant us in the summer months with their diversity and vibrant colors. Together, we will observe the day butterflies in the wilderness area and learn more about their habitats, food plants, and flight times. You are sure to discover some previously unknown species and find out what you can do to contribute to the protection of these scaly beauties. Led by: Sophie Büchner, Foundation Natural Landscapes Brandenburg – The Wilderness Foundation. Meeting point: Visitor parking lot at the Wilderness viewpoint. It is located on the B168 between Lieberose and Peitz. Duration: approx. 2 hours. Notes: Limited number of participants, registration required. Participation fee: €8 per adult, free for children. Please pay attention to sun protection. We welcome donations for wilderness protection. This tour is part of the "Ranger and Experience Tours" program.
