Radio in the Changing Times: Listening to Radio in the 21st Century

In 2026, the adult education center of the Dahme-Spreewald district, in collaboration with the Funkerberg Museum, will host a series of events on the topic of radio. In five sessions, participants will gain insights into the history and present of the most beautiful medium in the world. With modern technology, one can listen to radio stations from all over the globe—or to the local station around the corner. After a brief theoretical introduction, participants will embark on a radio journey around the world. Participants are also welcome to bring their own receivers to clarify operational questions and functions.
