Night at the Museum (Saturday)

Feeling like a night at the museum? Spend it with friends and family in the "Cultural Quarter" at the Cottbus/Chóśebuz City Museum. A diverse program for young and old awaits you at the "Blue Clock" on Bahnhofstraße. A special highlight: light artist Jörn Hanitzsch will immerse the museum in a completely new light and offer exciting insights into the exhibitions. Your visit will be accompanied by a varied supporting program. Thanks to numerous partners, you can experience and discover city stories and urban nature. This year, in addition to the museum, the following will also be participating: Eck 51 invites you to a children's disco starting at 7 PM and live music starting at 9 PM. Artist Marcus Preuß will open his studio (Studio26) at 7 PM. Light artist Jörn Hanitzsch will present a mix of film, light, and music in his light gallery/private club B24. Other highlights at the museum include: neon face painting for kids, Steampunk by the Steamrose Society Lausitz, live preparation, and a Vietnam special in the new special exhibition. For the first time, children and teenagers up to the age of 17 will have free admission. Tickets are available in advance at the Cottbus City Museum and at CottbusService. The discount applies to: students, apprentices, recipients of ALG I and II benefits, severely disabled individuals ("B" in the ID), volunteers in social and ecological years, and those in the federal voluntary service with appropriate written proof.
