Tour of the Plant Hall of the Glienicke Orangerie Hundreds of palms, agaves, laurel, and orange trees adorn the Prussian parks in summer. Well protected, they winter in the orangery, which was built for this purpose by the Prussian kings. One of these is the Orangerie in the Glienicke Park, constructed on the orders of Prince Carl according to a design by the royal architect Ludwig Persius.
